New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers reportedly underwent an MRI on Monday (September 29) confirming he suffered a season-ending right torn ACL in Sunday's (September 28) win against the Los Angeles Chargers , a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN 's Adam Schefter .
"An MRI today confirmed that Giants standout WR Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers, per source," Schefter wrote on his X account.
Nabers was feared to have suffered a season-ending ACL tear after being carted off the field during the second quarter of Sunday's game at MetLife Stadium. The former LSU standout entered Week 5 with 16 catches for 251 yards and two touchdowns and recorded two receptions for 20 yards prior to his injury.
