McDonald's has revealed they have axed a major breakfast menu item and fans have been left shocked at the decision.

The fast food chain has confirmed it has discontinued its Breakfast Roll from its menu. The item was added to the restaurant's menu in 2020 and included smoky bacon, a free-range egg and melted cheese with a choice of either ketchup or brown sauce.

But while the item became a firm favourite for many, McDonald's removed the Breakfast Roll from its menu earlier this month.
