Sahara Group has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking permission to sell several of its prime properties to Adani Properties Pvt Ltd, a company owned by Gautam Adani.

There are more than 88 properties on sale which include Aamby Valley in Maharashtra and Sahara City in Lucknow.

The Sahara Group wants to complete the sale of these properties as per the terms outlined in a term sheet dated September 6, 2025 which is part of the petition.

“After overcoming considerable challenges, the management of the Sahara Group has been able to identify and engage with a credible buyer, namely Adani Properties Private Limited, the Acquirer herein,” the petition stated. The properties on the sale include 8810 acres of Aamby Valley City, 170 acres of Sahara City in Lucknow, 106 acres of Versova
