SEATTLE — Officials in Washington state, including the Seattle mayor and Washington attorney general, will detail plans Monday morning on how they plan to protect citizens if President Donald Trump were to deploy the National Guard to the Evergreen State.
The press conference comes in light of Trump deploying the National Guard to Portland, Ore., which he claims is necessary to protect U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities that he alleges are "under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists."
