INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man was taken into custody after a reported stabbing at a Lawrence gas station left a 69-year-old man in critical condition.

According to court documents, 41-year-old Courtney Boose was arrested on the following preliminary charges: • Attempted murder • Aggravated battery • Battery resulting in serious bodily injury • Possession of a narcotic • Attempted battery on a police officer • Resisting law enforcement

At around 11:56 p.m. on Friday, officers with the Lawrence Police Department were dispatched to a gas station in the 4200 block of N. Post Road on reports of a stabbing.
