Gas prices are continuing to fall as more stations make the switch to winter blend fuel and fewer people are traveling.

Gas prices in the Harrisburg area have fallen 5.6 cents a gallon in the past week, according to GasBuddy , landing at an average of $3.17 a gallon today.

That price is 6.3 cents lower than a month ago and 11.9 cents lower than a year ago.

The lowest prices in the Harrisburg region are under $3 a gallon - $2.85 at Weis Markets and Giant in Hampden Twp., Cumberland County.

Costco in Lower Paxton Twp. and Sam’s Club in Swatara Twp. are at $2.89 a gallon, along with Weis Markets in Lower Paxton Twp. and Camp Hill Gas in Lower Allen Twp., Cumberland County.

The national average price also has fallen - down 5.8 cents a gallon landing at $3.08 today.
