Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday called Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani from the White House and apologised for Israel’s attack in Doha, multiple media reports stated.

The call came after Netanyahu met with US President Donald Trump in Washington. According to Reuters, a technical team from Qatar was also at the White House at the time of this call.

Trump is hosting Israeli Netanyahu at the White House for high-stakes talks focused on ending the Gaza war and shaping a US-backed plan for post-war governance in the battered Palestinian territory.
