A man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly shooting another man during a robbery in Woodstock.

King Michael Adoty, 19, of Woodstock faces charges of first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, second-degree reckless endangerment, sixth-degree larceny, carrying a pistol without a permit and illegal possession of a large-capacity magazine, according to Connecticut State Police .

Adoty was arrested after troopers received a 911 call on Saturday reporting a man had been shot and robbed around 8:50 p.m., state police said. Emergency crews responded to the Eastford Fire Department and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg, according to state police. He received medical attention at the scene and was taken to an area hospital.
