Saint Ansgar sweeps at Bishop Garrigan Tournament

Saint Ansgar defeated West Hancock, Southeast Valley, Belmond-Klemme, Bishop Garrigan, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura and North Iowa in the Bishop Garrigan Tournament in Algona on Saturday evening.

In their closest game against Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, Lindsay Kruse led the team in kills with seven. Ava Falk had six while Quinn Osgood and Alexis Frein each had four. Sofia Parrott had 21 assists in the three-set game. Kruse had three blocks and Alexis Frein had two. Makenna Norby had 10 digs. Parrott and Maci Mayer each had two aces in the win.
