Brock Purdy appeared to have some rust during the San Francisco 49ers ' 26-21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Purdy threw for 309 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in his first game back after missing two games due to a toe injury.

On Monday, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan suggested that Purdy's toe is still not 100%, as the quarterback feels sore after the game.

"He didn’t indicate it to me during the game," Shanahan said of Purdy's soreness during the game, via Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group. "Talked to him on phone last night and said it was starting to bother him. But nothing during the game."

San Francisco needed Purdy to rush back to play Jacksonville after backup quarterback Mac Jones dealt with a PCL sprain in his left knee during practice last week.
