Bexar County election officials are expected to provide the public with an update on the voter registration backlog.

County Judge Peter Sakai and Elections Administrator Michele Carew will host a press conference scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, along with other elected officials.

This announcement comes just a week before the deadline to register to vote, which is on Oct. 6.

Election Day is Nov. 4, 2025.
