COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Gamecocks will now officially head to LSU for a night game next month.

The SEC announced Monday that the Oct. 11 matchup will start between 7 and 7:45 p.m. It will air on ESPN, ABC or the SEC Network. A final decision on the kickoff time and broadcast information will be announced following the games on Oct. 4.

It’ll mark the 24th overall meeting between the Gamecocks and Tigers, with LSU holding a 13-1 home record against South Carolina. LSU has also won the past eight games in the overall series.

Both teams will also be coming off a bye week, as neither will play Oct. 4.
