EWA BEACH, Hawaii (Island News) -- A resource fair is set for Monday, Sept. 29, in Ewa Beach to help Oahu renters with services and support.
Hosted by the Hawaiian Council and community partners, attendees can access housing and job resources, free HOLO cards, shelf-stable food rations and emergency kits.
As part of the fair, applications will be available for 400 laptops and 200 cell phones for eligible renters to help with job searches and employment.
To qualify for a job resource kit (cell phones, laptops, HOLO cards) and emergency kits, individuals must:
Be 18 years or older
Be a current renter in Honolulu County (with or without subsidies)
Provide a valid photo ID
Provide a valid rental agreement or similar document verifying rental arrangement
Meet the 80% Area Median Income
