Millions of Aussies can now access 'hyperfast' internet speeds, thanks to a massive update to the NBN speed tiers. One new tier — NBN 500 — is shaping up to be Australia's most popular pick, and one provider is now throwing its hat in the ring, offering a sweet deal from the get-go.
Dodo is an Aussie-based internet, mobile and energy provider. It operates via the Vocus Network, leveraging its infrastructure to provide internet services. The network also supplies fibre for other telcos, like iPrimus and Tangerine.
As of today (October 1), Dodo has the cheapest NBN 500 plan for the first six months, at just AU$62.99p/m. This plan was a recent upgrade to the 500Mbps tier, only porting over to turbocharged speeds for new and existing customers overnight.
