TAMPA, Fla. — Florida’s minimum wage is now $14 an hour. Voters approved a constitutional amendment in 2020 that would gradually increase the state’s minimum wage by one dollar each year to reach $15 an hour by 2026. While this is good news for minimum wage workers, some businesses are concerned the raise will affect their bottom line and lead to higher prices.
