Ex-South Bend schools superintendent placed on paid administrative leave by Arizona school district

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Paradise Valley Unified School District voted to place former South Bend superintendent, Dr. Todd Cummings on paid administrative leave.

The body also appointed an interim superintendent to the post on Tuesday evening.

Dr. Cummings tenure here in the South Bend district ended in similar fashion.

The superintendent was placed on paid administrative leave ; the South Bend Community School Corporation board then appointed an interim superintendent and Dr. Cummings ultimately resigned.

The school board in South Bend hired private investigator Tim Corbett to examine Dr. Cummings stewardship of the South Bend schools.

Corbett ultimately presented a damning assessment of Dr. Cummings tenure.
