Two Fort Wayne establishments are hosting Oktoberfest celebrations this weekend with German-inspired menus and specialty beers.

Deer Park Irish Pub, 1530 Leesburg Road, will tap eight styles of Marzen and Oktoberfest beers starting at noon Friday.

Matt’s Hitchin’ Kitchen will serve German food beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a stein hoist competition at 6:30 p.m. The Todd Harrold Band performs at 8:30 p.m.

O’Sullivan’s Italian Pub at 1808 W. Main St. will host O’stoberfest on Saturday, featuring four Oktoberfest beers on tap.

The menu includes bratwurst, sauerkraut, German potato salad and pretzels with beer cheese. An O’stoberfest pizza featuring German mustard sauce topped with bratwurst, sauerkraut, onions and mozzarella will also be available.
