KENT, Ohio – If you are looking for something fun to do in Northeast Ohio this weekend, check out Kent Oktoberfest.

The festival is Saturday, Oct. 4, from noon to 8 p.m. Highlights include seasonal beer, German-inspired food, polka music, German dancers and stein-holding competitions.

The event takes place on Franklin Avenue and part of West Main Street. Live entertainment will take place at the Hometown Bank Plaza in downtown Kent, located at 142 N. Water St. The event is open to people of all ages and features free admission.
