The Blues will have two more chances to win their first preseason game following a 5-3 loss to Dallas on Tuesday night that dropped them to 0-3-1 in four exhibitions.
Dylan Holloway (twice) and Philip Broberg scored for the Blues, and Joel Hofer made 25 saves in his first complete game of the preseason. Ilya Lyubushkin, Wyatt Johnston, Radek Faksa, Tyler Seguin and Jason Robertson (empty-net) scored for the Stars.
The Blues will host the Senators on Thursday night before finishing the preseason in Chicago on Saturday night.
