QUEBEC CITY – The Canadiens opened their séjour in the provincial capital with a 5-0 win against the Ottawa Senators.

The trip to Quebec City began with a pit stop at Château Frontenac for a team photo , and the result was picture perfect. Well, almost perfect.

Habs fans understood the assignment, showing up for pregame festivities in plenty of bleu-blanc-rouge . Former Habs defenseman David Savard was notably in attendance to mingle with supporters.

Come game time, players arrived wearing beaded pins created by Mohawk artists in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
