New Delhi: The dispute surrounding the presentation of the Asia Cup 2025 trophy to champions India remained unresolved and intensified at the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Board meeting on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, after the BCCI walked out in protest.

According to The Hindu, BCCI representatives Rajeev Shukla, vice-president, and former treasurer Ashish Shelar, both attending the meeting virtually ‘logged out’ after ACC president Mohsin Naqvi did not suggest awarding the trophy and winners medals to the Indian cricket team. Following the walkout, the ACC Board did not pass any resolution on the issue.
