EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — From whether to or not to use vote centers in the state to changing the timing of the municipal election, Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales is hearing from residents statewide and getting their input.
"I'm one of those guys who believes in what the local counties want," Secretary Morales said. "So in fact encourage all 92 counties to customize and tailor their elections according to their needs."
One of the election issues on the table include shifting municipal election years to even numbered years. This would mean taking place on the same years as the midterm and presidential elections.
