French forces conducted live fire drills from helicopters as part of NATO military exercises in northern Estonia on Tuesday.
Three Tiger helicopters and three NH90 Caiman helicopters practised striking sea targets with Hellfire missiles and firearms.
A multinational military exercise, codenamed Pikne (Lightning), is being held in Estonia from September 18 to October 2.
Allied units from France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Latvia and Canada are taking part in the drills led by the Estonian Defence Forces Division.
The aim of the exercise is to practice the rapid deployment of allied units to Estonian territory and the repulsion of a potential enemy as a multinational force.
