New Delhi : A mysterious disease has killed at least 6 children in Parasia and its surrounding areas of Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh. The deaths took place in the past 23 days. More than a dozen children are still admitted to hospital. The doctors said that the deaths took place due to kidney failure.
First case reported on September 7
According to reports the first case of a sick child was reported on September 7. On the day 5-year-old Adnan Khan was taken to hospital after he had high fever and started vomiting. As his condition continued to worsen, he was referred to Nagpur. The doctors in the city informed his parents that both his kidneys had failed. The boy died soon after.
