ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Albuquerque residents from Old Town, West Old Town, and the Sawmill area gathered at Hotel Albuquerque to question mayoral candidates about their plans to address issues and improve the area.

Karen Martinez expressed her love for Old Town and her desire to see improvements, particularly concerning homelessness.

"It used to be in certain parts of the city. Now, it's everywhere, even here in Old Town. There are so many homeless people. I want to know what we're going to do for them," Martinez said. "I don't want words and mouths. I don't want to hear or see your mouth moving, but I can't hear what you're saying anymore. We need to do better for people."
