Susannah Carr is famous for her news presenting skills — but a little known fact is that she’s also a pro in the kitchen.

The beloved 7NEWS presenter took part in a cooking demonstration at the Perth Royal Show on Wednesday, where just like on MasterChef, she had to whip up a feast with a mystery box of ingredients.

Carr was given a potato, chicken, lime, ricotta, onion, paprika and corn.

She used the ingredients to cook up a delicious dish of chicken with paprika, salt and pepper, a baked stuffed potato with ricotta, grated lime rind, lime juice and onion with a side salsa consisting of cooked corn, raw onion and lime juice to pickle it.
