CHENNAI: TVK has put on hold Vijay 's campaign trail across TN, asking district secretaries not to file requests with the police for permissions to conduct rallies. TVK district secretaries confirmed that Vijay's meeting planned for this Saturday at Vellore and Ranipet will not take place. The schedule fixed weekend rallies in each district, with a target to complete them by December. When Vijay altered the plan to cover two districts a day instead of three, the schedule was extended until Feb 2026. Now, party insiders have indicated that Vijay may return to the campaign trail only by the third or fourth week of Oct.
