In a major crackdown on secessionist and unlawful elements in Jammu and Kashmir, Budgam Police on Wednesday attached the head office of the banned organisation Tehreek-e- Hurriyat (TeH) under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (UAPA).
The organisation was founded in 2004 by pro-Pakistan separatist leader late Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
The seized building is located in Hyderpora on the outskirts of Srinagar and has long served as a hub of separatist activities.

The attachment of the three-storey structure was carried out under Section 25 of the UAPA, 1967, as part of an ongoing crackdown on entities accused of engaging in subversive activities in Jammu and Kashmir. The property is built on one kanal and one marla of land.
