European leaders gathered in Copenhagen on Wednesday for two summits focused on security, defence and the war in Ukraine.
The meetings follow drone incidents at Danish airports and military bases in the past week.
Denmark's defence ministry said it had set up a precision radar system at Copenhagen airport to help keep watch.
France, Germany, and other countries have sent aircraft and air defence systems.
Discussions will centre on preparing Europe to counter Russian aggression.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected to address EU leaders by video-link, while a proposal to use frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine will also be discussed.
