Police are searching for a suspect who stole a 50-pound fiberglass dinosaur from outside a Los Angeles gas station over the weekend.

For six years, the 4-foot-tall dino stood at the Sinclair station on 13060 San Vicente Blvd. in Brentwood, but that all changed early Saturday morning.

Surveillance video shows a man in a hoodie walking across the parking lot with a power tool and then bending over to cut the bolts at the dinosaur's feet.

The suspect then wraps the popular tiny-sauraus in a blanket before tossing it into the back of a pickup truck and driving away.
