We agree with the City of Toronto that congestion is choking the city. Gridlock in the GTA is not just frustrating – it is costing us. According to the Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis , congestion is draining the regional economy to the tune of $44.7 billion annually in social and economic costs. In a time of rising costs and economic uncertainty, we simply cannot afford this inefficiency.
