The Washington Commanders have announced that guard Sam Cosmi has been designated to return to practice from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list among other roster moves.

The decision by the Commanders opens up Cosmi's 21-day window to return to the active roster. The Commanders can choose to activate Cosmi at any point over the next three weeks. Once the 21-day window expires, the Commanders must choose whether to activate him or return him to the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list for the rest of the year.
