The Toronto Blue Jays‘ ALDS roster remains in flux as the team battles injury.
Star shortstop Bo Bichette is seeing daily improvement, but it remains unclear if he will be ready to return from his knee sprain in time for Game 1 on Saturday, general manager Ross Atkins told reporters on Wednesday.
“Every day has gotten better for him … he’s doing everything possible to be ready as soon as possible,” Atkins said.
Manager John Schneider said Bichette is not running yet, but hopefully is “starting that soon.”
Bichette has been sidelined since Sept. 6 with the injury. • Watch Blue Jays in ALDS on Sportsnet The Toronto Blue Jays’ post-season journey begins Saturday with Game 1 of the ALDS at Rogers Centre. Catch the action on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+. Broadcast schedule
