Bucs' Baker Mayfield keeps Carolina memories off limits with Sam Darnold mention

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield made it clear on Wednesday that reminiscing about his time in Carolina with former teammate and Seattle Seahawks star Sam Darnold is off the table.

When asked by a reporter if he and Darnold ever think back on the "good old days" in Carolina, Mayfield's response was sharp .

"Uhhh. Reminisce on what days?" Mayfield replied (via Ari Meirov on X), followed by a blunt, "Oh, nope. No we don't."

Mayfield also confirmed that he and Darnold remain close friends, despite his refusal to look back on their shared past in Carolina.
