No. 3 Miami (4-0) at No. 18 FSU (3-1), Saturday, 7:30, ABC

Latest line: Miami is favored by 4 1/2 points

This game was poised to be the biggest matchup of the week. Miami is a top-three team. Florida State was a top-10 team. All the Seminoles needed to do was hold up their end of the bargain and beat Virginia on the road, and Tallahassee would be the heart of the college football world on Saturday. Oops. FSU lost to Virginia for its first defeat of the year. But this should still be a good game, as the Seminoles offer the tough Hurricanes defense its biggest test of the year. Gus Malzahn and the reworked FSU offense will probably put up points, but Miami will ultimately prove too much for Florida State.
