A man in Delhi refused to pay for his cancelled Zomato order, leading to police intervention and alleged assault.

The customer had reportedly cancelled his order, but the Zomato delivery partner still demanded money. When the man declined to pay, the delivery partner called the police. Soon after, officers arrived at the man’s residence, dragged him out, and allegedly assaulted him before taking him to the police station. The entire episode was captured on CCTV.

According to Delhi Police, the customer was intoxicated. Officials said, “He had ordered food on Zomato but did not pay the delivery partner. When the cops reached the spot, he misbehaved with them. After that, he was taken to the police station and a medical test confirmed alcohol consumption.”
