Raveena Tandon has now criticised Air India over its handling of passengers travelling with pets, urging the national carrier to take lessons from the private airline Akasa Air. The actress took to social media on Wednesday to highlight what she described as the “inconvenience" faced by pet owners while flying with Air India.
Tandon’s remarks came after Akasa Air announced an expansion of its “Pets on Akasa" service. The airline confirmed earlier this week that it would now permit two pets per cabin, doubling its previous limit of one. Additionally, the booking window for pet travel has been reduced to 24 hours before departure, instead of 48 hours, in an effort to make the process more flexible for customers.
