COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) -City leaders in College Station are seeking public input as they weigh potential restrictions on overnight parking in neighborhoods near Texas A&M University.
Dozens of residents packed council chambers Tuesday evening for an informational meeting focused on parking congestion in the Southside and Eastgate neighborhoods. The city said complaints about blocked streets, limited access for emergency vehicles, and pedestrian safety have increased in recent years as older neighborhoods face higher traffic volumes.
