If candidates for mayor and city commission were a little off their game during a forum Tuesday night, they can be forgiven.
Candidates ate increasingly spicy wings while answering questions about multi-modal transportation, the Pride flag and the WARD ballot initiative, in a debate modeled after the popular YouTube show “Hot Ones.”
With ever-reddening faces as they bit into the wings and gulped water or milk, candidates sniffled, coughed, teared up and sweated through the Forward Montana forum at the Bozeman Labor Temple.
When asked about public transportation, most candidates said they support expanding the bus system. Roger Blank, who is running for City Commission, noted the system needs to be a realistic alternative for people and suggested the city work with Streamline to fit buse
