A person was shot and injured at an apartment complex in the Mountain View community on Tuesday.

The Hickory Police Department said the person was injured in a shooting at the Glenwood Commons apartment complex. A call reporting the shooting came in around 11 p.m.

Hickory police said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Glenwood Commons is located at 5190 Glenwood Place Court off of N.C. Highway 127.

Hickory police have not released any additional information about the shooting as of 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
