PHILADELPHIA − The Eagles are opening the practice window for linebacker Nakobe Dean, who has been on the physically unable to perform list since training camp began in July.
Dean, who was second on the team with 128 tackles last season, tore his patellar tendon in a playoff game against the Green Bay Packers last January.
The Eagles now have a 21-day window for Dean to ramp up in practice before deciding whether or not to add him to the 53-man roster. If Dean is not ready by then, he will be placed on season-ending injured reserve. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets
