BRISTOL, Conn. (WFSB) - A school bus with students on board was involved in a crash in Bristol.

The school bus from First Student bus company crashed with another vehicle on Stafford Avenue, just south of Farmington Avenue,

14 students from Bristol Eastern High School were on board at the time, along with the bus driver. Thankfully, no one on the bus was injured.

The driver of the passenger car suffered minor injuries and was evaluated by medical personnel.

“Representatives from the Bristol Board of Education responded to the scene and will make contact with parents of the students on board the school bus,” police said.

Representatives from First Student also responded.

Part of Stafford Avenue was closed while police investigated and cleared the roadway, but it has since reopened.
