Ramban, Oct 1: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remained open for one-way traffic on Wednesday, with heavy vehicles allowed to move towards Jammu and light to medium vehicles permitted to travel towards Kashmir, traffic authorities said.

However, traffic movement was reported to be slow at several points due to ongoing road repair work at Tharad (Udhampur) and on single-lane stretches between Nashri–Dalwass and Marog–Kishtwari Pather.

Additional delays occurred due to the breakdown of several heavy vehicles along National Highway 44.
