A student at Melvin H. King South End Academy in Boston's South End reportedly assaulted staff and police officers on Wednesday afternoon.

Boston police said they responded to a radio call for a report of a student assautling staff at the school, located at 90 Warren Avenue, around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

During the response, three officers were injured, police said. Two were taken to local hospitals, and a third was treated at the police station.
