The city of Aurora is offering a free home internet security course and virtual cybersecurity workshop during October, which is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Aurora’s Information Technology Department is collaborating with KnowBe4, an internet security awareness training platform, to offer city residents a free home internet security course designed to help families make smart, safe decisions online, according to a city news release.
Available throughout the month of October, the course will help community members identify security awareness, understand how cybercriminals operate and learn how to protect themselves from cyber-attacks, city officials said in the news release.
