Truck crashes into school bus in Douglas County, three children injured

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A school bus carrying children was involved in a crash in northeast Kansas Wednesday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says around 7 a.m. Wednesday, a school bus was stopped near the intersection of US-56 and K-33 north of Wellsville. The bus was waiting for a student to enter it, when a truck that was traveling southbound struck the rear of the bus.
