BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- High school students across Alabama will be able to apply to colleges and universities with no fees from Oct. 6-10.

Alabama College Application Week is a special statewide application event in which multiple schools waive their application fees to allow Alabama seniors to submit applications to their institutions with no cost.

According to Dr. Monica P. Mack, coordinator for the Alabama College Application Campaign (ALCAC), nearly 30,000 students participated in the event in 2024.
