Terra Bella, Calif. (KFSN) -- A suspect has been arrested after an attempted armed robbery in Tulare County.
Deputies say that it happened just before 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Family Foods and Gas Station on Road 236 near Avenue 96 in Terra Bella.
When deputies arrived, they learned that a 15-year-old boy had walked into the store and handed the cashier a note, gesturing to a gun inside a satchel.
The suspect threw coins at the cashier before running off.
Deputies quickly found the suspect nearby with the gun.
He was arrested and booked on charges related to the attempted robbery.
