(WHTM) - Penn State men's hockey's season opener on Friday will be broadcast nationally with the collegiate debut of top NHL prospect and Nittany Lions freshman Gavin McKenna.

Penn State Athletics says the Nittany Lions' season opener against Arizona State will be broadcast on NHL Network and NHL YouTube on October 3 at 10 p.m. EST. The second game of the Nittany Lions' road series on October 4 will also be available on broadcast at 8 p.m. EST.
