The organization exists to build community through the culture of hip-hop, connecting people and creating space for artists to perform and grow.
Bush, who releases music under the name J Bu$h, has been part of Knoxville’s hip-hop scene his whole life. He’s currently rolling out his new project Tanasi — a five-chapter album, with the final release coming later this year.
In this conversation, Bush talks about how music helps him realize his own inherent value and process his life, as well as how the Good Guy Collective is working to launch new events, including the inaugural Four
